On January 30, 2008 the Governor and Executive Council unanimously approved changing the name of our college to White Mountains Community College. This new name signifies that we have truly become a comprehensive community college offering educational opportunities over a wide range of technical, career, professional, and general studies programs. With this name change, we begin a transition where you will see our former name, NHCC–Berlin, less and less and our new name, White Mountains Community College, more and more. This transition will be complete by July 1, 2008 when all of our College publications and signage will reflect our new name. We hope you share our excitement over this important development in the growth of the college!
Our main campus is in Berlin with our other academic centers located in Conway, Littleton, and Woodsville. Our guaranteed transfer agreement with the University System of New Hampshire ensures that all your credits in the Liberal Arts program with a grade of "C" or higher will transfer to the University of New Hampshire, Keene State College, Plymouth State University, and Granite State College. There are numerous other transfer possibilities as well. In short, quality, accessibility, and customer satisfaction are the cornerstones of our college. Your academic success is our business!
